A Trudie House is a transitional housing organization. Our mission is to reach out to displaced men through guidance, encouragement, and access to education so that they may achieve and sustain professional and social stability. We offer a wide range of classes, volunteer opportunities, and guidance with the practical application of life skills to help our tenants achieve their goals .

Franklin Smith began A Trudie House in 2007 with the intention of helping brothers through faith, fellowship, volunteerism, and education. A Trudie House is a place where men can find hope and empowerment through personal growth and development.
